Happy Holidays! We are now open for Santa trackers to register to take calls in the NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center on Dec 24.
Shifts are available in two-hour increments beginning at 4:00 a.m. on Dec. 24 until midnight. Slots fill quickly, so sign up now to hold your spot!
All volunteers must be at least 15 years of age to participate in the Operations Center. No one under the age of 15 is permitted in the Operations Center on Dec. 24.
Important Note: If you are signing up multiple individuals at the same time, EACH INDIVIDUAL must already have base access in order to sign up as a group. If you are signing up individuals who DO NOT already have base access, each individual must make separate appointments in order to collect the below information for base access.
Example 1: A military group of 10 who all have base access may have one person reserve a block of 10 volunteer slots.Example 2: A group of 10 where 7 already have base access but 3 do not, can sign up a block of 7, but EACH of the 3 individuals who need base access must sign up separately in order to collect the information below. There are no exceptions to this, and those without base access will be denied entry.
*The information you provide will be used to coordinate base access with 21st Space Wing Security Forces personnel for volunteer operations at the 2019 NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center on Dec. 24.
Volunteers without access to Peterson Air Force Base will need to provide their full date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY), Driver’s License # and State of issue at the time of registration.
To gain base access on Dec. 24, all drivers and passengers will need to present a valid photo identification card. Drivers must present a valid driver's license as their form of identification. Passengers may present a valid driver's license, state issued identification card, or US passport.
*Volunteers 15-17 years of age may present a school photo identification card if they do not possess one of the other identification documents outlined above.
*Foreign nationals signing up for a NORAD Tracks Santa shift can provide their passport number including the country of issue and expiration date for advanced base access. Service members sponsoring foreign visitors for a visit may register for a visitor pass at the pass and ID office by close of business on Friday, Dec. 21. The pass and ID office will be closed on Dec. 24. Foreign visitors being sponsored by a CAC card holder without advance base access may get a pass at the gate, but the processing time can take up to approximately 30 minutes or more.
